Let your fragrance stay a little longer.

Try an unscented moisturiser before your perfume and allow it to absorb. Hydrated skin can help fragrance wear better, without adding another competing scent.

Apply a modest amount to a few chosen areas and let it dry. On the next wear, keep the conditions similar if you want a useful comparison. A hot commute and a cool indoor day are different tests.

The bright opening and the settled base are different parts of the experience. Decide whether you enjoy the later scent too, rather than choosing only for the first spray. Eau de Parfum or Extrait on a label is not a guaranteed number of hours.

Some fabrics hold fragrance well, but perfume can also leave marks. If the product and garment allow it, test a concealed area first. Avoid using a favourite delicate garment as the experiment.

Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat. A cool, shaded cupboard is a more sensible home than a bright windowsill or a hot car. Good storage protects the perfume you already own; it does not turn it into a stronger formula.

A small refresh later can be more considered than a heavy application now.

Check how the scent is wearing before topping up. If you use a travel atomiser, keep it securely closed and away from heat. Reapply away from other people, especially in shared indoor spaces.
