Fragrance basics
EDP, EDT and everything between
Understand the label before choosing your next bottle.
The label is a starting point.
Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum and Extrait are concentration descriptions. They can help you distinguish versions of a fragrance, but the name alone does not guarantee how long a fragrance lasts or how far it projects.
Compare the exact version
A fragrance with the same name in a different concentration may have a different composition. Compare the title, concentration and notes together, and check the bottle size before buying.
Wear matters too
Skin, weather, application and the formula affect your experience. Start with a light application and adjust to the occasion. If we have not assessed a product’s performance, its page says so.
Choose by character
Freshness, florals, woods or sweetness will tell you more about what you might enjoy than choosing solely by a concentration label. Find a starting point in the scent reading, or compare the collection.
